Interim Zoning Ordinance
Yuba
County recently adopted a comprehensive update to its General Plan (2030
General Plan adopted June 7, 2011). The 2030 General Plan serves as the
development guide for the County and is long range (20 years) in scope.
A primary implementing tool of the 2030 General Plan policies and goals
are the development codes contained in Yuba County Ordinances Title XI
Development Code and Title XII Zoning Ordinance. On June 21, 2011 the
Yuba County Board of Supervisors adopted an Interim Zoning Ordinance and
Guidelines for determining General Plan conformity to ensure that
development will be consistent with the newly adopted 2030 General Plan.
The Interim Zoning Ordinance will be utilized until a comprehensive
update of Titles XI and XII (Unified Development Code) are completed and
adopted by the Board of Supervisors. For more information on the Unified
