Division
Staff administers and coordinates Adult Protective
Services (APS), In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS), Multipurpose Senior

Program (MSSP), the Public Authority (PA)
and Senior Nutrition Access Card (SNAC) program.
Our program goals are to provide eligible
aged, blind or disabled adults services to remain
in their own homes free from abuse and neglect, to promote independence by
providing both domestic and personal care services, and to establish
partnerships with other community services and entities. Our cornerstone is
service provided with both dignity and respect. Please use the program link
buttons for more information regarding each of our programs.
Adult Protective
Services (APS)

and dependent adults.
APS is a 24-Hour emergency response program and
takes reports of suspected elder and dependent adult abuse 24 hours a day,
seven days a week. To report elder or dependent adult abuse

The In-Home Supportive Services
(IHSS) program is a Federal, State, and County funded
program which provides domestic, related and personal care services to those
eligible aged (65 or older), blind or disabled individuals in order to
remain safely in their own homes.
The Multipurpose Senior Service Program
(MSSP) provides social and health case management
services for frail seniors who are at risk of placement into a nursing
facility, but who wish to remain in their own home and community.
Yuba County Public Authority
(PA) establishes and maintains a registry of qualified providers and helps
IHSS consumers to hire, train, and / or terminate IHSS care providers.
Senior Nutrition Access Card
(SNAC) program has established a
restaurant meal voucher pilot program available to low income senior
citizens in Marysville, Linda and Olivehurst. Local restaurant participation
is limited and a waiting list exists. However, you are encouraged to check
with Adult Services at 530-749-6471.
