County Supervisor Redistricting

In April of 2010, the United States Census was completed. One requirement that comes out of this monumental task is that all counties must change the lines of their supervisorial districts so that each county has a balanced number of residents in each district.

The Board of Supervisors boundaries were adjusted based on the recommendations of the redistricting committee appointment by the Yuba County Board of Supervisors.

The redistricting committee developed three alternatives for the Board to consider, and at the August 9, 2011 Board of Supervisors meeting the Board selected Alternative 3B.
