Supervisor Roger Abe was elected to the Yuba County Board of Supervisors in 2008 and took office on January 5, 2009.

Roger lives in the Wheatland area with his wife of 27 years, Susan, and owns and farms 40 acres of walnuts.  Roger and Susan have three sons, Brian, John, and Henry.

Roger graduated from Wheatland Union High School in 1973 and Yuba College in 1975. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento in 1977. Roger received a Juris Doctor (JD) from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in May 1982, and passed the California bar exam in July 1982.

  • Wheatland Union High School Board Director from December 2000 – December 2008
  • Wheatland Lions Club member since 2006

Roger worked as a Yuba City police officer from July 1977 – September 1979.  Since December 1982, he has operated a small general law practice.
