Poll Worker Information
Poll Workers:
“Get paid for doing your civic
duty.”
Requirements:
• Be a registered voter in Yuba County, a Yuba County
employee, or a high school student in a sponsored high school poll
worker program.
• Attend training class.
• Must be able to work from 6:00 a.m. until approximately 9:30 p.m.
Position Duties & Pay:
Inspector

Pay - $90/day

Supervises polling
place operations

Attends training class
-
Picks up supplies
-
Sets
up/takes down polling place
-
Delivers supplies to an assigned Return
Center.

ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS:
California law allows high school seniors to work as election officers
on election day. You must be at least 16 years of age, a United States
citizen, and a student in good standing with your school earning at
least a 2.5 grade point average on a scale of 4.0. If you are interested
