Unaffiliated Voters - Voting in the Primary Election
Voters who registered nonpartisan, are not affiliated with a political
party or the party with whom they are affiliated is not qualified in
California, may choose to receive the ballot (or portion thereof) for
one of the parties listed below. If you are requesting an absentee
ballot, indicate your choice on the application located on the back
cover of the sample ballot booklet. If you are voting at the
polls, indicate your choice to the election workers at your polling
place. If you do not request a party ballot, you will be given an
non partisan ballot containing only the names of all candidates for
nonpartisan office and measures to be voted on at the primary election.

Ballot Question: Shall the approval of the Yuba
Highlands Development Project pursuant to Resolution 2007-95, consisting

Single Family Medium Density, Multi-Family, Core Commercial, Business
Park, Public Facility and Open Space, be adopted?

or against any county, district or school measure. |

During this period a
copy of any ballot measure text, arguments, impartial analysis
or bond statement for any county, district or school measure
shall be available for public examination. During this period
any person may file a writ of mandate or an injunction to
require any or all of the material/data to be amended or
deleted. |

Election Day
- Polls open at 7:00 am and close at 8:00
pm.
- 8:00 pm deadline for absent voter ballots
to be received or turned in personally by the voter to the
Yuba County Elections Office or at any polling place in the
county. A designated family member may return the
voted ballot under specified conditions. (EC
