Our Mission is to enhance the community's physical, social and economic character through comprehensive review of individual development projects for consistency with the community's long-term goals and objectives.

The Planning Department is charged with implementing local, state and federal policy related to development, land division and related land use processes. Individual development proposals are reviewed for consistency with the County of Yuba General Plan and Zoning Code, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Subdivision Map Act and other State and Federally enacted legislation. Additionally, the Planning Department is responsible for coordinating the dissemination of the above referenced information to the general public, developers and their agents, public officials and governmental agencies.

Starting October 20, 2008 new fees will be in place for Community Development Services

Agency Departments.

Please be aware that Planning Applications have been updated.

Applications must be submitted on the new forms and the appropriate fees submitted in

order for an application to be accepted.

~REGARDING APPLICATIONS~

Please be aware that Dept. of Fish & Game Fees are going up January 1, 2009

The filing fees for CEQA documents are as follows:

Negative Declaration (ND) & Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND)

Current Fee of $1,876.75 increases to $1,993.00

Environmental Impact Report (EIR)

Current Fee of $2,606.75 increases to $2,768.25
