Agricultural Services

Yuba County strives to provide the best services  not only when enforcing  California laws, regulations, and standards but also through education and outreach to gain compliance.   Pesticide Use Enforcement is one of the most significant programs within the department which focuses on the safe and proper use of pesticides used for the production of agricultural products.  Direct marketing such as Certified Farmers' Markets and Organic fall within the Fruit, Nut, and Vegetable program.  Other agricultural services and programs include; Export Certification, Nursery Stock, Pest Exclusion, Pest Eradication, Weed Free Forage Inspections, and Seed.
