Flooding at Yuba County Parks

Flooding at Yuba County Parks Causes Delay in Season Open

March 9, 2023

The current storms bring the likelihood of high river levels. Sycamore Ranch and Hammon Grove parks will be CLOSED.This will delay this season's April 1st opening of the campgrounds to April 15th. Day Use is closed until further notice.

Here's the plan: Camping reservations for April 1st through the 14th cannot be honored, and no new reservations through those dates will be accepted. County staff will be contacting customers to assist in either rescheduling or cancelling existing reservations within those dates. At this time, all reservations for dates later than above will be honored.

If you reschedule, you can transfer full credit to another date. You may have to pay the difference or receive a partial refund, if you modify the length of your stay or choose a difference size and priced site. If you cancel, you will receive a refund for the reservation cost and the $10 reservation fee. The additional credit card processing fee cannot be refunded. We have no control over this, as this is a fee charged by the credit card processing company.

Please call (530) 749-5641 for more information. We ask for your patience, as this change will impact our phone lines heavily.
