Flooding at Parks Update

Flooding Continues To Keep Sycamore Ranch and Hammon Grove Closed

March 23, 2023
flooding at Sycamore Ranch  Water from Dry Creek floods over roads and picnic areas in Day Use at Sycamore Ranch

As local storms continue, so too does high water in Yuba County Parks, Sycamore Ranch and Hammon Grove. As announced on March 9, 2023, this delays the start of the 2023 camping season until April 15th. At this time, all sections of both parks are closed.

Day Use in both parks will remain closed until there is confidence that flooding will not return and cleanup efforts can be completed. Re-opening is subject to weather, cleanup, and safety conditions.
