Coastal Clean-up

CALIFORNIA COASTAL CLEAN-UP DAY.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th, 2020
*  Postponed  *
Due to the very unhealthy air quality forecast for tomorrow, we do not want to put our volunteers in an unhealthy environment.  The Clean-up effort will be rescheduled in the future when we have a better forecast.
Thank you for your understanding and please notify anyone you know that was planning to attend.

We would like to inform you of  The California Coastal Cleanup effort on Saturday, September 12, 2020.  Due to Covid-19 related concerns we will not be gathering on the asphalt at Shad Pad.  We will have tables that will have limited supplies for volunteers such as trash bags and water. Once you have received your supplies you will promptly be directed to the clean-up area where you must practice social distancing and refrain from intentional/ unintentional gatherings.    The State of California Coastal Commission works with local counties to do a Statewide clean-up. Eben Schwartz, Marine Debris Program Manager has more information and will be updating the web site as we are getting closer to the date in September.

The location is 981 Shad Rd. Marysville, Ca. 95901. The time will be from 8:30am - 12:30pm.  Once you are finished and are leaving, you can drop your trash you have collected. We will be by to pick it up. Thank you for your help and stay safe.

 Please feel free to contact me for anything else you need, or any concerns you have.

 Thank you for your participation,
