Hello,
A question was recently shared via our county supervisor, Gary Bradford: "WHEELER RANCH RESIDENTS - Do you consider your "community of interest" to be Plumas Lake? Wheeler Ranch? North Plumas Lake? Arboga? Let the County know! Email [email protected], tell the where you live and what you think your "community of interest" is. If you have the time, map it out and send a map showing your community of interest."
As a Wheeler Ranch resident, I consider our neighborhood (the Wheeler Ranch Subdivision) part of Plumas Lake (North Plumas Lake) as per all the original boundaries in the Plumas Lake community planning map attached.

Good evening,
I live in the Wheeler Ranch neighborhood off of Plumas Arboga Road. I am concerned that our neighborhood will be rezoned. My community of interest is Plumas Lake and I want the Supervisor that covers Plumas Lake to continue covering Wheeler Ranch as well. Our communities are intertwined. My children went to Plumas Lake schools, played Plumas Lake Little League, and all their friends are in Plumas Lake. My address is even a Plumas Lake address. The Plumas Lake master plan includes Wheeler Ranch and, as it will one day connect, it only makes sense to keep this community together. Please adopt Map example #2 and keep our community whole.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Beth Watson
As a resident of Wheeler Ranch, I am concerned that my neighborhood will be moved to a different district. Our community of interest is definitely Plumas Lake. Staying in district 4, will keep our community and our representative aligned with what matters to us.
Thank you,
Gary Merrill
Hello after reviewing the potential change to Wheeler Ranch and the new potential district change our family strongly urges the board to continue to allow Wheeler Ranch to stay in district 4. Map #2 is the map we prefer not map #1. Can this request be considered in your up coming votes/discussion. Thank you In advance!

Hello,
I am a resident of the Wheeler Ranch community (3574 Yarrow Street). My community of interest is D4, Plumas Lake. I prefer the map labeled as “Example #2”. I would like for the supervisor that represents South Plumas Lake to continue to represent Wheeler Ranch, as we consider ourselves a part of Plumas Lake.
Thank you.
Nicole (Dopp) Shimosaka
We are writing you with concerns about the redistricting of North Wheel Ranch in Plumas Lake.
We do not want Wheeler Ranch to be split up from the rest of Plumas Lake. We prefer the map labeled example #2.
Gary Bradford should be the supervisor for all of Plumas Lake. He does a great job and we know if there are questions he is there for us.
Sincerely
Frank and Jane Gallo
To whom it may concern,
I would like to remain in D4 as my community of interest is Plumas Lake. I’d also much prefer map labeled #2. I do not like map labeled #1.
Thank you,

Hello I’m a resident of Wheeler Ranch I live at 1120 Skyline ct we would love to remain in District 4 and we prefer example 2 of the plan not option 1 keeping us joined with South Plumas Lake. Please consider our request. We love our community and the way it is zoned we look forward to seeing it grow.
Thanks

Hello-
Please please leave Wheeler Ranch in D4 . It is my community of interest. My family and I live in Wheeler Ranch and prefer the map labeled example #2 (we don’t like example #1)

Hello,
I just wanted to write to share a want and concern I had with the upcoming redistricting. I would love to see our community of Wheeler Ranch to stay as District 4. It aligns most with our development to stay with the same representative as South Plumas Lake. I would consider our neighborhood of North Plumas Lake to be more aligned with South Plumas Lake and District 4; rather than be moved to District 3.
It is much preferred to stay in the map labeled example 2 and I would not prefer the example 1 map. I would greatly appreciate you to take this into consideration Thank you for your time.

Hello,
It has been brought to my attention that redistricting is soon to be happening. I currently live in north Plumas lake and found out there is a chance that we would be moved to district 3. I find that it would be more beneficial to our neighborhood to keep the same supervisor as lower plumas lake and stay district 4. It makes more sense to stay under the same supervision and district since we relate to lower plumas lake and are a part of the area.
Thank you,
Matthew Keller
I would like Wheeler Ranch to remain in D4 as my community of interest is Plumas Lake. I prefer the map #2 and don’t like example # 1.

Issues = Good afternoon my name is NATASHA and I am a resident of Wheeler Ranch which is currently a part of your district, i’m writing in regards to the potential change from this current district to a new one. My family and I would strongly urge that Wheeler Ranch stay in our current district we believe that the needs of Wheeler Ranch align with the needs of the rest of the current district and if we change districts I fear that the needs of this community will no longer be aligned with the district that it is in. We fear changes that will not benefit our our community.
Thank you, Natasha Ingman

To Whom It Concerns,
As a resident of the Wheeler Ranch area that is currently in District 4, I would like to express my opinion after talking to various neighbors, that most in our community would like to remain in District 4 as lines are redrawn for districts. Our neighborhood is in the Plumas Lake Specific Plan and it is beneficial for our future growth that the same Supervisor oversees our community and the entire Plumas Lake Specific Plan. Our area concerns align with South Plumas Lake and most in our area consider our area North Plumas Lake. Our current Supervisor, Gary Bradford, keeps our community very up to date with community information and quickly answers questions or addresses concerns that members of our community bring up to him. We would like to keep the same representation.
There are two options that are being considered as lines are being redrawn and I would like to stress my opinion that Option 2, with the community of Wheeler Ranch, also known as North Plumas Lake remain in District 4, with our current Supervisor, Gary Bradford.
Thank you
Autumn Ferguson
District 4 Resident
Hello,
I am a resident of the Wheeler Ranch neighborhood and District 4. I believe that the Wheeler Ranch neighborhood, as well as the rest of North Plumas Lake, have more in common and are more in alignment with the goals and needs of Arboga and South Plumas Lake than it does with Olivehurst and should therefore remain in District 4.
Regards,
Tyler Carpadus
To Whom It May Concern,
As a local resident of district 4, an elected official, and real estate broker in Plumas Lake, I feel strongly that District 4 should include all of the area of Plumas Lake. Splitting the community representation will create further issues for the area. Looking at the 2 proposed options, option 2 makes the most sense and keeps the communities together as best they can for all the districts.

To whom it may concern:
As a resident of District 10, I prefer the redistricting map, Example #2. Living this close to Marysville, the children in this area attend K-12 schools in Marysville, the bulk of our shopping occurs in Marysville/Yuba City, and SR 70, which bisects D-10, runs into and through Marysville impacting all of these activities and our lives. Representation by a supervisor based in Marysville would most likely provide the best representation of the needs of the District 10 community.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Pamela Warmack
To Whom It May Concern:
I was made aware of the county’s intent to redraw district boundaries to improve population equality.
I am a homeowner in Plumas Lake (South) and have a concern with splitting the boundary between North Plumas Lake (Wheeler Ranch) and where we live.
We view ourselves as one community, and with the projected growth and expansion of homes in the area, it would make the most sense to have one supervisor who serves and supports the whole.
Our District 4 supervisor, Gary Bradford, has done and continues to do an amazing job for all of us. He’s inclusive, knowledgable, and absolutely responsive.
I researched the proposed lines, and strongly believe Option 2, which maintains and expands the oversight of the District 4 supervisor in Plumas Lake, is the best choice and my family’s preference.
Thank you for your time and consideration on this matter.
Best,
Glenn Lee Robinson

Hello: I’ve observed your proposed redirecting maps and option 2 will give District Ten and Hallwood residents a voice they don’t currently have in D-5.
We are currently lumped in with the foothills, which have much different topography, along with issues that aren’t the same. We need emphasis on flooding, which occurs here periodically. Levee rebuilding, flood planning, county ditch cleaning, emergency egress, all issues that need attention.
By removing us from the foothills we stand a better chance in receiving the attention we deserve.
Thanks for your time

Hello.
My name is William Whitehead and I own property in Wheeler Ranch (Plumas Lake, North). I'm writing to offer my support for redistricting option number 2, which keeps Wheeler Ranch in district 4. In my opinion, the needs of Wheeler Ranch more closely align with the needs of the rest of Plumas Lake, as opposed to the needs of Olivehurst. Keep Plumas Lake together.
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing for myself and on behalf of my husband regarding the upcoming decision on redistricting to submit our preferences on the options being considered. As residents of Wheeler Ranch, we purchased in 2019 based in part on the understanding that we were included in District 4 and considered North Plumas Lake. As such, we would like to continue to be a part of District 4; option 2 of the proposed maps.
Thank you in advance,

I would like to see West Linda be represented by the Olivehurst supervisior. The communities are entwined with similar needs and issues.

Hi,
My name is Nathan Dennis. I live at XXXXXX Dr, Plumas Lake CA 95961.
Our area identifies as Plumas Lake. I believe that option 3 is the correct way to go. I believe that as much of North Plumas Lake should be included in D4 as it better represents our area.
Thank you,
Nathan Denni
Hello,
My family of five live in the Wheeler Ranch neighborhood of North Plumas Lake. I have been following the proceedings regarding the county's redistricting and wanted to give feedback.
I would greatly prefer redistricting that looks like the maps labeled "Data Option 2" and "Data Option 3." We in Wheeler Ranch want to keep our County Supervisor Gary Bradford. Most of us also agree that the needs of our area more closely align with those of Arboga and North Plumas Lake rather than those of Linda and Olivehurst.
Thank you for your consideration,
Katie Strauss
Hello,
I recently saw the redistricting options and was told to email this to share my thoughts. I like option 3 best, then 2. Number 1 would be the least desirable option. Maybe there is some benefit to number 1 that isn’t obvious but it seems like that would just continue to unnecessarily divide our community.

Hello,
As a resident of Wheeler Ranch, I think it is crucial to keep our neighborhood in District 4. Per the census 2020 data options, I would like to state my preference for Option 3. My next choice would be Option 2. I strongly believe that if the district lines are redrawn like the example in option 1 that it will deter potential homebuyers, builders, and businesses coming to our area. I want to remain as part of Plumas Lake and District 4.
Thank you,
Talesha McAuliffe

Hello,
My wife and I own a house in Wheatland, and support Option 3 to reduce the rural size of District 4 while keeping Plumas Lake included.

As a resident of the Wheeler Ranch neighborhood, I support the Redistricting option #2. When I moved to Plumas Lake 2 years ago for the Air Force, I chose Wheeler Ranch because of its location and affiliation with Plumas Lake. If we were to adopt any other redistricting option, this would hurt many other homeowners in this area. Our community falls under the original Plumas Lake Development, and it should remain so without stretching the district boundaries any further north.

the maps are a little hard to read on line, as I do not see street names but....
As a member of the Yuba County office of Education Board from district 1, I do believe that Proposed Option 2 would give us the best representation for East and West Linda and keep the two connected.
thank you

The green one should have more of the area south of it. And yes, our district representative cares nothing about our area.
Angie Archer Gates
West Linda needs a supervisor that lives in that district. Nothing against the one sitting now but, it’s been ignored for years There are so many good retired people in that area that deserves having their community represented by someone who knows the issues of living there.
Glenda Archer
I have lived in West Linda 70 years and there was only one supervisor that really took an interest many years ago.
Charles Sharp
Wheatland has grown, Linda has grown, and the other district have stayed about the same, if read this correctly.
