The District Attorney has committed his legal career to public service and considers it an honor to serve in this capacity.  He is an advocate of a career as a public servant and expects attorneys who work with the office to view the profession in the same regard.  Applicants should demonstrate a sound work ethic, a willingness to embrace challenge in an environment that is time consuming and deadline oriented.  New deputy district attorneys can expect to fully participate in every aspect of investigating and prosecuting crime up to and including presenting a case to a judge and jury.
