Yuba County was established in 1850 as one of the original 27 counties when California became a new state in our nation. As the 27th Sheriff of Yuba County, I will ensure every member of our office carries on the tradition of protecting and serving our community as we have for more than 150 years. We serve our community in providing law enforcement, emergency dispatch, corrections, civil, coroner, public administrator and animal care services.

We are facing very exciting, yet challenging times in Yuba County with unprecedented growth in our valley and foothill region. We are ready to confront and adapt to these changes to ensure we provide the highest quality of service.
