Yuba County Sheriff Detectives are investigating an attempted homicide that left a 23-year-old Olivehurst man with life threatening injuries after he was shot in the 2300 block of N. Beale Rd in East Linda early this morning.

Deputies responded to multiple 911 calls reporting several gun shots heard outside an apartment complex near Yuba College at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday 7/13/2021. Upon their arrival, they found an unresponsive victim inside a vehicle stopped in the roadway. The injured man was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital before being transferred to the Sacramento area, where he remains hospitalized in critical condition.
