On Wednesday, March 10, 2021 just before 8:00 a.m., Yuba County Sheriff’s Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting that a female had been found injured and appeared to be deceased in the guest room of a residence in the 17000 block of Indiana Ranch Rd. Upon Yuba County Sheriff Deputies arrival, they located a woman with obvious physical trauma and pronounced her deceased at the scene. The victim is identified as 44-year-old Christine Adams of Visalia, Ca.

Yuba County Sheriff Detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. A suspect, identified as 43-year-old Bryan Adams and husband of the deceased, has been detained on a Ramey Warrant for Homicide. The suspect is currently hospitalized in the Sacramento area as a result of a car accident prior to law enforcement locating him. Yuba County Sheriff's Office took custody of Adams at the hospital yesterday, where he remains under our guard until he can be booked into the Yuba County Jail following his release.

The victim’s cause of death remains pending results of an autopsy, which was scheduled for today 3/11/2021. The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.
