Covid-19 Case Update for Yuba County Jail

With the rising cases of Covid-19 in the community, and in the interest of maintaining the health and safety of our jail residents and personnel, the Yuba County Jail is suspending inmate visitation effective today, 8/24/2021.

The jail has 10 active Covid-19 positive cases in quarantine housing at this time. The Yuba County Jail continues to work closely with and under the consultation of the Bi-County Health Officer, Dr. Luu.

All new intakes into the jail, regardless of vaccination status, are quarantined for 14 days and monitored for Covid-19 symptoms before being housed into the facility with the general population. All but three of the recent cases were identified during quarantine.
