Monday evening 9/27/21, Yuba County Sheriff Detectives arrested Olivehurst resident Andreas Luis Gonzalez, age 18, for the July 2021 murder of 23-year-Dalen Hall of Olivehurst. The shooting occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. at College View Drive and N. Beale Rd on 7/13/2021, and Hall succumbed to his injuries a few days later.
On Monday 9/27/21 at approximately 2:15 p.m., Yuba County Deputies responded to 7th Avenue in Olivehurst after a 911 caller reported that a brandishing of a firearm had just occurred. Gonzalez matched the description of the suspect and was located by responding deputies in the area. Gonzalez was identified as the alleged brandishing suspect and arrested on a new charge of Assault with a Firearm in addition to the Homicide from July.
Gonzalez was booked into the Yuba County Jail with a bail of 1 million dollars.
