On September 27, 2022 around 2:25 PM, the Yuba County District Attorney’s Office received an anonymous phone call advising of an explosive device at their office, located within the Yuba County Courthouse, at 215 5^th Street in Marysville, CA.  The Sheriff’s Department was notified and the building was briefly evacuated.  A sweep was conducted, no devices were located and business at the Courthouse was resumed shortly after.  The investigation into the threat is on-going and being handled by the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department.
