Over 3 Pounds of Methamphetamine Confiscated During Search Warrant in Marysville

On October 7th, 2022, members of the Narcotic and Gang Enforcement Task Force (NET-5) with the assistance of the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department, executed a search warrant on Cortney Dozier (62 years old of Yuba City) and a white metal building associated with an auto performance supply store in the 200 block of F Street in Marysville, CA. During the execution of the search warrant, Cortney Dozier and Rebecca Bacon (49 years old of Olivehurst) were located in the building.

A search of the building revealed the following items: 1,652 grams of methamphetamine (3.6 lbs.), operational digital scales, and packaging material consistent with the possession for sales of methamphetamine. As a result of the investigation, Cortney Dozier and Rebecca Bacon were both arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale, per section 11378 of the Health and Safety Code, and both booked into the Yuba County Jail.

 This investigation was forwarded to the Yuba County District Attorney’s Office.
