INMATE DIES AT THE YUBA COUNTY JAIL

Marysville, Ca. - On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, around 5 p.m., correctional deputies were alerted that an inmate was having a medical emergency. Deputies and medical staff immediately began emergency treatment, while paramedics arrived on scene and transferred the inmate to Adventist Health and Rideout in Marysville where he was pronounced dead.

The 30-year-old male inmate had been in custody at the Yuba County Jail since his arrest in July of 2022. The Sheriff’s Department will release his name once next of kin is notified.
