The Yuba County Board of Supervisors this week approved a regulatory agreement for Redburn Village Senior Apartments in Linda-- a 31-unit affordable housing project for those 55 and older. The project is still a year or so away from breaking ground, but this was an important step forward in ensuring these units remain affordable for at least 55 years.
In 2022, Yuba County received a "Pro-Housing Designation" from the State of California recognizing our efforts to meet affordable housing needs. At the time, we were one of the first jurisdictions of our size and rural character to do so, and we're proud to continue on that path. This project is a continuation of the County's vision toward housing options that work for all of our residents.
