A longtime Yuba County resident and local business owner, Mike Leahy was elected to the Yuba County Board of Supervisors in the 2016 Primary election and took office January 9, 2017 and serves the citizens of Yuba County’s Second District, which primarily encompasses the City of Marysville and a section of West Linda. Mike and his wife, Teresa, own and operate The Life Training Center in Marysville. Together, they have built two successful businesses in Yuba County.

He has attended many community events and participated as a member of numerous boards including the Marysville Historic Planning Commission and local youth sports groups such as the Little league Boards.

Mike is passionate about supporting economic development in the County. He calls that an economic recovery process. He is a strong supporter of public safety.

Yuba County has been a great place for Mike to live, work, succeed, and raise his family, which is very important to him.
