The FAA has partnered with several industry associations to promote Know Before You Fly, a campaign to educate the public about using unmanned aircraft safely and responsibly.

If you are unsure whether you can or cannot fly a drone in your area, we suggest you consult one of several applications that provide details on flight restrictions.  The FAA publishes a program called B4UFLY or AIRMAP that users can download to their mobile device for immediate consultation on airspace.  We would highly suggest all drone operators in and around the Yuba County Airport utilize such resources prior to launch.
