Payments are still being accepted by mail, payments can be made by way of credit card or e-check through our website or automated phone service (a fee does apply / click HERE for payment website / phone 1-866-477-2406), or payments can be made through the bill payment service offered through your own financial institution (if available). The Treasurer is an independent elected official, voted in by the constituents of Yuba County, and is the entrusted custodian of all funds within the County. The County Treasury is responsible for the daily receipt, custody, deposit, and investment of all funds for the County, school districts, special districts, joint power authorities, and affiliated agents whose funds are held and invested by the County Treasurer. 

The Tax Collector is an independent elected official, voted in by the constituents of Yuba County, and is charged with the responsibility of the billing and collection of all secured, unsecured, and supplemental property taxes for Yuba County. All functions of the Tax Collector are governed by California Revenue and Taxation Code. 




ANNOUNCEMENTS
 If your current year taxes were paid late as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may qualify for relief (cancelation) of the late penalty and/or cost now associated to your tax bill per Executive Order N-61-20.

→ Due to the Governor's Executive Order, No. N33-20, the tax sale (auction) that was scheduled for April 18, 2020 through April 21, 2020 has been CANCELED.
