The Treasurer is an independent elected official, voted in by the constituents of Yuba County, and is the entrusted custodian of all funds within the County. The County Treasury is responsible for the daily receipt, custody, deposit, and investment of all funds for the County, school districts, special districts, joint power authorities, and affiliated agents whose funds are held and invested by the County Treasurer.
The Tax Collector is an independent elected official, voted in by the constituents of Yuba County, and is charged with the responsibility of the billing and collection of all secured, unsecured, and supplemental property taxes for Yuba County. All functions of the Tax Collector are governed by California Revenue and Taxation Code.
→ Current Secured bills for 2021/2022 are in the process of being mailed out. The first installment is due November 1, 2021 and is delinquent if not paid by December 10, 2021. If you do not receive your bill by November 1, 2021, please contact our office.
→ Current Unsecured bills were due no later than August 31, 2021. If you have not yet paid your Current Unsecured bill, please do so prior to November 15, 2021 in order to avoid the lien process.
→Our next auction (tax sale) is scheduled for February 2022. Please refer to our auction information page for the most current information. The list of properties being offered in the auction will be available to the public in late December/early January.
